Dedicated to the memory of Taffy

This site is a tribute to Brian Griffiths. He is much loved and will always be remembered as someone who loved life and lived it to the full.

As you know mum and dad had many greyhounds. Mum encouraged dad to take up the hobby as a result of talks with her driving instructor Kevin Barry. Kevin Barry was the racing manager of Rochester and he helped dad buy his first Greyhound Ballyvoneen Boy....or Brandy. The rest they say is history.

Dad's hobby brought many happy memories but what you might not know is that greyhounds have a very short racing career.  He felt very strongly that we should look after our greyhounds for their entire life and often supported the Retired Greyhound Trust.

If you were thinking of buying some flowers,  Daryl and I feel that Dad would have preferred that the money be used more practically and suggest a donation to the Retired Greyhound Trust.

I've copied across the shared photos and stories from the whatsapp group - feel free to add any other words, photos, stories, or music that you'd like to share of your memories of dad.

He always had a brilliant story to tell, an infectious laugh, a big hug and a kiss and a confidence and determination not to be underestimated. I’ll miss you Uncle Brian.
