Matthew My memories are the 'bucket-seats' in his white sports car and thinking it was so cool as I couldn't get out of them! And also the fun times at the villa in Calpe - lots of swimming
Steve: .that’s my biggest memory of ure dad, going to Dumptin dog track to watch the races especially when he owned one…..I think I remember going to the local park and helping to ‘train’ one of his dogs that was a bit shy…..didn’t like being in the trap so didn’t want to leave to chase the hare!!Also was talking to Dad about the greyhounds and we both remember him giving us advice about betting on a dog …. I think it was If it had just done a. No 2 before a race then don’t bet on it cos it was too knackered to race!! We will bet tomorrow of course…..
Kim: I remember your lovely greyhounds at your house - so gentle. Was one called Jackie’s Tiger? Or did I just make that up. Forget Tom Jones & Shakin Stevens - Brian Griffiths was, without doubt, the Welsh king of Rock n Roll - remember that quiff❤️☺️Having a dance with him - phew you knew you’d been Taffied! 😆great
Karen: Yes I remember the greyhounds too! So lovely and gentle! I think one was called Brandy? Yes, I remember your dad loved greyhound racing, we always use to meet up on Boxing Day!
Emma: I remember when they came down at xmas for the dog racing at Dumpton.
